I recently bought a Seagull Coastline Cedar Grand, and I got a Tric case for it. I soon discovered the Tric case wasn't for me, so I contacted Godin they told me La Patrie Std V1052 case is the one that fits my guitar so I bought it. It's a solidly built wood case with black skin, nice locks including one at the back, and soft grey plush interior that includes a spot to put extra strings, capos, etc. This isn't a flight case, but it's great for home, local gigs and car use - anywhere you would use a regular hard case.
The case is made to fit the 14 fret Godin parlor guitars like the Seagull Coastline Grand and the Art and Lutherie Ami, and it fits very well. If you shake the case, the guitar doesn't move. I'm not sure if this case would fit the 12 fret guitars, but Godin support is very quick when it comes to answering questions via email.
A couple things worth mentioning: First the case doesn't lock, although it does have a place to put a padlock. This is why I gave it a 4, but would have given it a 4.5 if that had been possible. The other thing is that I gather the Tric case protects guitars better from extreme cold, so if you live where it snows and take your guitar out regularly, the Tric case might be better for you.
I'm very happy I got the La Patrie V1052 hard case for my guitar, and definitely recommend it to anyone who owns one of the parlors it's made for.

This gig bag is very attractive and very well-made. It has a very nice pouch for stashing the things you need to bring with you, tuner, music, etc. The handle and shoulder straps are very comfortable and it is good protection for your instrument. But it is a very snug fit for my LaPatrie acoustic-electric nylon-string guitar -- the guitar I believe it was made for -- so allow time for packing up because you to put a little effort into placing the guitar do before closing the bag.

My son wanted the La Patrie Guitar, he had one when he was in College and enjoyed it very much, ( he sold it after College about six years ago).he said he wished he had kept the Guitar, as it was beautifully

The guitar did not arrive in perfect condition - it had a small gouge in the headstock and another on the body. Both are not too noticeable but could have been avoided with better packaging. I was somewhat surprised when the guitar arrived in a fairly flimsy cardboard box that only loosely held the guitar. It is kind of a miracle that it did arrive in as good a condition that it did.
Anyway, after playing the guitar I knew I wasn't going to send it back. This thing sounds great and plays great. I am playing this guitar more than my newly purchased Taylor GC3. Two totally different guitars but the La Patrie is really fun to play. I can live with the 2 shipping battle scars. Those scars and the relatively cheap price makes it easier for me to just leave it on the stand making it more accesible to me.

I love this case. It's light, easy to carry, and relatively
good looking. People are impressed by it too - assuming
it's a high-end case. I play a hand-build guitar (built
by me) so I would seriously mind it getting damaged. This
case is at least as protective as a plywood hard-side case,
probably more-so.
I've heard Godin employees throw guitars across the room
in these cases. I would never attempt such a stunt with
a regular guitar case. These Tric cases are allegedly made
of the same shock-absorbing material contained in composite
car bumpers. It also insulates against temperature changes
better than a regular case so you can leave a guitar in
a hot car or in the sun in one of these longer without
damaging the guitar. As a practical matter you should never
leave a guitar in a car in the sun, but in reality sometimes
I've needed to. With one of these cases I bet a guitar
could last over an hour without damage in a car getting
direct sun.
If you want better protection you pretty much have to spend
significantly more money and deal with a lot more weight.
Arguably plywood cases (I've had several good ones) have
advantages for more long-term storage, but for taking
my guitars around to play I vastly prefer these lightweight
Tric cases. Good for shipping guitars too.
